Do you accept dental benefit plans (insurance)?
We make an effort to collect payment directly from the insurance company (assignment); however some dental plans require that the patient first pays for the treatment, then the patient is re-imbursed by the insurance company. Your dental benefit plans will cover 50-100% of dental costs for certain treatments, but other treatments, such as implants, are not covered. While we will try to estimate the portion paid by your plan, there may be unexpected differences. You are still responsible for any non-payment in whole or in part if the insurance coverage information given is inaccurate or expired. You are responsible for paying the percentage/portion of treatment costs NOT covered by your dental plan at the end of each appointment, and pay any difference if applicable (we will send you an updated statement).
We highly recommend you verify your coverage information with the proper department in your company before your first appointment.
Foe clients insured under the Provincial Ministry of Health, please note that we bill the difference between the Ministry fee and BC Dental Association Fee Guide.
